Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled MEMS Equipment Technician/Technologist to join our team at Teledyne Digital Imaging, Inc. This role will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of our MEMS equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on MEMS equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to reduce equipment failures and downtime.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Interface with equipment vendors to resolve technical issues and negotiate repairs or replacements.
  • Work effectively with operations and engineering teams to address process issues and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical diploma or associate's degree in engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, pneumatic, mechanical, and chemical systems.
  • Knowledge of RF systems and vacuum systems is an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
