Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Learning Development Specialist to join our team at Insurance Growth Network. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and setting the training plan and goals across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify training and education gaps and research internal and external solutions.
  • Collaborate with department leads to design, develop, and maintain the annual training plan.
  • Deliver basic software training for new employees.
Employee Onboarding & Training Plans:

You will analyze training needs for various branches and roles, identify performance improvement opportunities, and design training programs that meet the educational and professional needs of both sales and service employees.

Employee Licensing:

You will oversee the annual renewal of all agent licenses within the established timeframe by the Alberta Insurance Council, maintain awareness of licensing requirements, and provide onboarding and supervision for the acquisition of Level 1 licenses.

Continuing Education:

You will create an annual training plan that provides Continuing Education (CE) content relevant to employee efficiency and productivity, register employees for continuing education classes as needed, and track and report on CE costs.

Learning & Development Programs:

You will build relationships with external education providers, assist in updating existing programs, administer the LMS for all employees, and support department projects to enhance training effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop a knowledge management plan to promote data literacy and enable knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Consolidate all training and communications in a single knowledge management system.
  • Assist in the company's ongoing development through identifying organizational and role-specific training needs.
CMB Team Support:

You will be familiar with and follow company policies and procedures, take steps to avoid errors and omissions, demonstrate good leadership qualities, and perform other related duties as required.

Salary Estimate:

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
