Network Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at GLOBALTELEHOST CORP. as a key member of our IT department.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate access and use of computer networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and data transfer.
- Install and configure software, web server hardware, and networking software to optimize system performance.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
- Monitor system performance, evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal functionality.
- Provide problem-solving services to network users, implementing data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect against cyber threats.
- Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, implementing network traffic and security monitoring software to optimize server performance.
- Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts, research and apply meta-data to Websites, and register Websites with search engines to enhance online presence.
- Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and designers, performing Web-server backup and recovery operations as needed.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in network administration.
- College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience.
- On-site work required, with no option for remote work.
- Experience working in a server farm environment.
