Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at GLOBALTELEHOST CORP. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, install software, and maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Security and Backup: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, perform routine network start up and close down, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Network Optimization: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance.
  • Web Development: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts, research and apply meta-data to Websites, and register Websites with search engines.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Server farm.
