Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Systems Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Systems Technician, you will be responsible for testing, inspecting, verifying, and servicing fire alarm systems and devices. You will also be required to inspect installation sites, study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and inspect fire alarm systems and devices to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Inspect installation sites to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
  • Demonstrate systems to customers and explain details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
  • Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
  • Install, inspect, and repair fire alarm and security systems.
  • Follow local and national security standards.
Requirements
  • CFAA License
  • Prior experience with fire alarm systems, monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems.
  • Siemens and/or Mircom ESD experience preferred.
  • Ability and desire to learn all facets of the Fire Alarm Systems Technician role.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Customer-oriented mentality.
  • Ability to work within the territory and surrounding areas.
