Position Overview

The Fire Safety Systems Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other critical life safety equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the upkeep and verification of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Maintain high standards of system reliability and client satisfaction.
  • Complete work orders and documentation promptly.
  • Be available for on-call emergency service requests.
  • Serve as the primary contact between clients and the company.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Completion of or enrollment in CFAA Certification Courses, with a commitment to obtain certification within one year of employment.
  • Two years of community college education in electronics is preferred, or equivalent training or experience.
  • Prior experience with fire alarm systems is advantageous.
  • Competence in computer usage is required.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Availability to work afternoons and nights on a regular basis is required.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $43.67
