Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an IT Network Support Specialist. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing server maintenance, desktop support & configuration, internet troubleshooting, and various IT-related activities across all Amir Group locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Infrastructure Management: Install, manage, and maintain network infrastructure with a foundational understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LANs, WANs, VLANs, VPNs, and routers.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
- Research and Solutions: Research and identify solutions for software and hardware issues.
- Backup and Recovery: Run regular backups for network servers and desktops.
- Desktop and User Support: Provide desktop and user support for Microsoft Windows and Office 365.
- Employee Training: Support employee training for IT-related tasks and new software.
- Server Configuration and Troubleshooting: Configure, deploy, migrate, and troubleshoot Windows Server, networking, printing, and related hardware/software.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Active Directory and Office 365 Administration Experience: Required.
- Strong Teamwork and Task Management Skills: Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Capacity to Handle Multiple Tasks: Capability to handle multiple tasks and learn quickly.
- Windows Server and Desktop Systems Proficiency: Proficiency with Windows Server and desktop systems.
- Firewall Troubleshooting and Switch Management Understanding: Understanding of firewall troubleshooting, switch management, VPNs, VLANs, etc.
- Backup Solutions and Anti-Virus Management Experience: Experience supporting backup solutions and centralized anti-virus management.
- Cloud-Based Software Familiarity: Familiarity with cloud-based software (Office 365, Azure).
- SharePoint and OneDrive Implementation Experience: Experience implementing SharePoint and OneDrive company-wide is an asset.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Education in a scientific or technical field is advantageous but not required.
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
