Caregiving Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiving Specialist to join our team at Regina General Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide exceptional care and support to clients/patients/residents in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.
**Salary:** The successful candidate can expect an estimated annual salary ranging from $23,170 to $24,840, based on a 0.63 FTE (full-time equivalent) position with regular part-time hours.
About the Position

As a Caregiving Specialist, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client/patient/resident. Your expertise will be instrumental in promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being among our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living for clients/patients/residents, fostering their ability to function at an optimal level.
- Support clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs through empathetic and attentive care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and update care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of a Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) certificate program.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
