About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Symbiosis Development Inc. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various other tasks related to lawn care and gardening.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants to ensure stability and safety.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and remove litter and garbage to keep our outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our landscapes.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
  • Remove trees and other vegetation as required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, and may involve physical demands such as bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be organized and hardworking in your approach.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but you must be willing to learn and train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work a regular 30-35 hour workweek.
Language and Work Term

This role requires English language proficiency and a permanent work term.
