Landscape Labourer Job Description

Symbiosis Development Inc is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various other tasks related to lawn care and garden maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants to ensure stability and safety.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn care tasks as needed.
  • Remove litter and garbage from the work site.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty of our outdoor spaces.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Remove trees and other vegetation as needed.
Work Environment:

As a Landscape Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to work in a physically demanding role, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent hand-eye coordination and organizational skills.

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
