Landscaping Technician

About the Role:
Symbiosis Development Inc is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various other tasks related to lawn care and garden maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
- Tie and secure plants to ensure stability and prevent damage.
- Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
- Cut grass and remove litter and garbage to keep the work area clean and safe.
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our outdoor spaces.
- Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to promote healthy growth and development.
- Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
- Remove trees and other vegetation as required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Use hand-eye coordination to operate equipment and perform tasks.
Requirements:
- Organized and able to work independently.
- Team player with a hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
- Availability to work 30-35 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
