Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule carpentry projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of carpenters, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks to the required standard.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that all work is being carried out to the required standard and that all safety protocols are being followed.
  • Resource Management: Manage the allocation of resources, including materials and equipment, to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure that all projects are completed to the required standard and that all parties are informed of progress and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Certifications: Bondable, valid driver's licence
