When you choose Custom Cubes, you are choosing flexibility, work-life balance, and a great team environment.  Reporting to the Production Supervisor, Carpenters are responsible for the construction of Custom Cubes’ projects. Carpenters are knowledgeable in their trades and are versatile in their skills. Fabricators are passionate about quality and precision, and in turn, customer satisfaction. They are skilled and careful, ensuring safe work practices are prioritized.  Health and Safety is every employee’s responsibility. All employees are required to follow Custom Cubes’ safety standards and carry out all tasks with a safety-focused attitude and behaviors.

Responsibilities:
  • Take the lead on custom projects and provide direction to others
  • Constructing projects according to specs provided by project plans
  • Troubleshooting construction-related issues 
  • Contributing to the design and constructability of stock and custom projects
  • Be a leader on the shop floor and help guide others on the team
  • Interior paneling and finishes
  • Trimming and finishing interiors
  • Keeping common work areas and construction areas organized and tidy during construction, as needed
  • Working collaboratively with others to complete the construction
  • Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in working safely with a variety of power tools
  • Minimum 7 years of well rounded carpentry experience.
  • Experience leading and training
  • Team-oriented and positive attitude
  • Ability to keep the job site tidy and organized
  • Learning and growth mindset; willing to undergo training if necessary
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to learn new skills quickly
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong attention to detail
