About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Dining Room Manager to join our team at Sienna Senior Living. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the dining room, ensuring that all food and beverage activities align with Aspira standards and expectations for hospitality-style dining services.
  • Manage a team of dining room servers, including recruitment, orientation, supervision, and performance evaluation, to maintain high productivity levels.
  • Conduct training and education sessions on hospitality-style dining service to ensure that team members are proficient in providing excellent service to residents.
  • Assist with meal service by performing server duties as needed.
  • Report supply and procurement requirements to the General Manager.
  • Manage staffing levels for the dining room within the allocated budget.
  • Assist in planning and organizing external marketing events and ensure that all dining room and facilities are prepared accordingly.
Requirements
  • Graduated from high school and completed coursework in hospitality service management, guest relations, service excellence, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in fine dining, catering service, or hospitality within hotels and restaurants.
  • Valid Safe Food Handling and Smart Serve certificate.
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and supervise a diverse team, delegate tasks effectively, and connect with both residents and their families.
  • Ability to think quickly, adapt to changing situations, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, manage budgets, and ensure the smooth operation of the department.
