The Saskatchewan Health Authority's North East Area, Prince Albert, is seeking a skilled Family Medicine - Emergency Medicine Physician to fill a permanent position. With an annual workload of 1,440 hours, you will work in an 8.5- or 9-hour shift capacity.

Job Overview

This role involves delivering high-quality medical services to patients presenting to the emergency department, including trauma care, stroke management, and pediatric care. As part of the dynamic Emergency Medicine team, you will contribute to providing seamless patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Qualifications

To be successful, candidates must hold certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada in Emergency Medicine (CCFP-EM). Additionally, they must be registered and licensed to practice medicine with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), maintaining membership and insurance with the Canadian Medical Protective Association. A valid license to work in Canada and current certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support are also required. Ultrasound skills are highly valued and may be expected.
