Job Title: Inventory Supply Technician

Job Summary:

The Inventory Supply Technician will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring inventory levels, performing physical inventory counts, and identifying items for re-ordering. The successful candidate will also be responsible for receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming supplies, and distributing them to allocated areas. Additionally, the Inventory Supply Technician will communicate with user area personnel to resolve supply-related issues and ensure that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and monitor inventory levels, including performing physical inventory counts and identifying items for re-ordering.
  • Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming supplies, and distribute them to allocated areas.
  • Communicate with user area personnel to resolve supply-related issues and ensure that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 plus one year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Ability to organize own work.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
