Sr Strategic Supply Chain Mgr, Canada Retail Hardlines

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Strategic Supply Chain Manager to join its Retail Hardlines business in Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing initiatives that support inventory management, building effective supply chains, and driving improvement in customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, process improvement, and project management. They will be able to lead and influence internal and external teams in an ambiguous environment while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing core inventory functions such as buying, forecasting, capacity management, and reporting
  • Creating and improving inventory systems and processes in partnership with technical and product teams
  • Interacting with operations teams and driving efficiencies through team collaboration
  • Identifying opportunities to improve cost structure and profitability and working with partner teams on execution

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience with Excel

Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience

Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management

Experience communicating results to senior leadership

Experience managing and analyzing large data sets

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques

Experience with SQL

Experience delivering results by partnering with and influencing others

Knowledge of P&L

MBA or related Masters degree
