About the Role

Falcon Xpress Transportation Group Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our dedicated fleet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Logistics: Manage cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and communicate with other drivers and team members as needed.
  • Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, and adhere to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Experience: Experience as a truck driver is an asset, but not required
  • Language: Fluency in English
  • Work Environment: Willing to travel cross-border, willing to travel for extended periods, and willing to travel overnight
