Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Falcon Motor Xpress Group of Companies Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient handling
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient communication
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including overtime
