Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Real Canadian Superstore.

Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with inventory management and stockroom tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations on products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and performing other tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with inventory management by receiving and processing shipments, counting and recording inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support stockroom tasks by unpacking and organizing merchandise, counting and recording inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required.
  • Wear steel-toed safety boots and follow all safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in retail sales or customer service an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
