Food Service Management Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Clayton Pub Ltd.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced food service environment and are eager to take on a supervisory role. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a clean and safe work environment;
- Evaluate ingredient and supply needs to ensure efficient meal preparation and minimize waste;
- Implement quality control measures to guarantee that food and service meet the highest standards;
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage;
- Prepare and submit reports to management;
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our culinary offerings and provide recommendations to customers;
- Oversee the assembly and delivery of trays and trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service.
To be successful as a Food Service Supervisor, you will require:
- A high school diploma or equivalent;
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the food service industry;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers;
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously;
- A permanent employment arrangement with a minimum of 40 hours per week;
- Proficiency in English language;
- A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
