Job Title: Mental Health US RN

Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents? We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health US RN to join our team at KYND International.

Job Summary:

The Psych RN provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to children and adolescents in a 32-bed facility
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify outcomes, and develop effective plans to achieve desired outcomes
  • Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure
  • Successfully passed the National Council Licensure Exam-RN (NCLEX-RN)
  • Must obtain ACLS & American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of hire
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $39-44 USD/hour (54 - 61 CAD/hour)
  • Up to 2k in reimbursement for relocation expenses
