Job Title: Mental Health US RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at KYND International. As a Mental Health US RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to children and adolescents in a 32-bed facility.

About the Role:

The Psych RN provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to children and adolescents with mental health needs
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure
  • Successfully passed the National Council Licensure Exam-RN (NCLEX-RN)
  • Must obtain ACLS & American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of hire
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $39-44 USD/hour (54 - 61 CAD/hour)
  • Up to 2k in reimbursement for relocation expenses
