Senior Development Officer, Major Gifts

Hotel Dieu Shaver (HDS) Foundation is seeking a skilled Senior Development Officer to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for securing major gifts to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to secure major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and community leaders
  • Collaborate with our development team to identify and pursue new funding opportunities
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and reports to donors and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven track record of securing major gifts in a fundraising environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
