Job Summary

iHaul Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to oversee the operational logistics of our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation and freight forwarding, with a strong focus on planning, organizing, and coordinating activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and ensure smooth operations
  • Organize and maintain inventory, requisitioning or ordering materials and equipment as needed
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Prepare and submit reports, providing technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff, conducting performance reviews and establishing work schedules and procedures
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in transportation and freight forwarding
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
