Job Title: Transportation Logistics Supervisor

iHaul Logistics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of our transportation operations, ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement logistics plans to prioritize tasks and optimize operations
  • Organize and coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless execution
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including planning, organizing, and reviewing work
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to improve productivity and product quality
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in transportation logistics or a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
