Job Summary

The Human Resources Consultant (HRC) is a key member of the Northwestel team, responsible for providing strategic human resources leadership and support to the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of business operations and a ability to drive HR initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation and coaching to business leaders on HR-related matters, including employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and programs that support business objectives, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and processes that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and address HR-related issues and concerns.
  • Provide HR support and guidance to employees, including training and development opportunities.
  • Manage HR-related projects and initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business leaders, employees, and external partners to support HR initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on HR best practices and trends, and apply this knowledge to support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field, with a minimum of five years of operational HR experience.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and HR principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
