Estimated Salary Range: $42,035-$49,826 per year

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our Critical Care team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of best practices in critical care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing practice and a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of critically ill patients
  • To develop and maintain expertise in critical care nursing, staying current with advances in technology and treatment options
  • To participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to critical care
  • To collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimize patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree in nursing or a related field, with a focus on critical care nursing
  • Current registration as a nurse practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
  • Experience working in a critical care setting, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
