Job Overview

Dillon Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Manager to lead our multidisciplinary project teams in delivering innovative and complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Undertake project planning, scope definition, schedule management, financial management, quality assurance, risk management, and resource allocation in accordance with Dillon's business procedures and industry best practices;
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through proposals, submissions, and client interactions;
  • Contribute to the growth and development of junior staff through coaching, mentoring, and training;
  • Participate in professional associations and committees to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field;
  • Licensed professional engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible for licensure within six months;
  • At least ten years of experience in project management, preferably in the consulting industry;
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multidisciplinary projects and developing business;
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including design, construction, and operations;
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
