**Key Responsibilities**

* Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
* Respond to maintenance service requests in a timely manner
* Read diagrams and schematics for work procedures
* Diagnose and repair after-treatment systems
* Weld aluminum and steel
* Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
* Maintain and repair heavy equipment to provincial and BURNCO standards

**Requirements**

* Journeyman HET On Road Red Seal or provincial certification is an asset
* CVIP licensed in Alberta is an asset
* Experience working on Detroit Diesel, Mercedes, and Cummins, John Deere, and Caterpillar is an asset
* Class 5 license with a clean driver's abstract
* Strong mechanical aptitude and effective interpersonal skills
* Proficiency using diagnostic software
* Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system repairs and maintenance is an asset
* Ability to follow and lead safe work practices
* Physical fitness to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures, with the ability to lift 50 pounds

As this is a safety-sensitive position, candidates selected for hire must successfully pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, drug and alcohol screen, and physical assessment test.
