Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Gold Leaf Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical stamina to withstand the demands of long-haul trucking.
