Job Title: Food Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team at 1071686 Ontario Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, hiring and training employees, authorizing payments, establishing work schedules, and resolving issues that may arise. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members.
  • Hire and train new employees, or arrange for their training.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and oversee payroll administration.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and supervise office and volunteer staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
