Giant Tiger is a Canadian owned and operated retailer with a strong commitment to the community and over 60 years of success. We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Operate electronic cash registers, mainline and self-checkouts, and accurately record customer transactions.
  • Replenish merchandise around the checkout area and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining stock levels.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by following health and safety policies and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the store's operations.

About You:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and stand for long periods.
