About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Project Manager to join our team at I N D U C A N A D A I N C. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in marketing and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas
  • Evaluate communication strategies and programs to ensure effectiveness
  • Oversee the preparation of public written material, including reports, research papers, and educational texts
  • Provide consultation on planning and starting new businesses, including feasibility studies and market research
  • Supervise professional and support staff, including training and development
  • Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment, including online marketing and e-commerce promotions
  • Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining databases and preparing funding applications
  • Plan development projects, including designing market research questionnaires and developing marketing strategies
  • Develop venture capital sources and respond to enquiries from members of the business community
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers
  • Develop social and economic profiles of an area to encourage industrial and commercial investment
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products
  • Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, and articles, including copywriting and editing
  • Act as spokesperson for the organization and advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies
  • Answer written and oral inquiries, including responding to emails and phone calls
  • Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other material, including designing and conducting special publicity events and promotions
  • Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions, including maintaining contact with the media
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys, including designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative research projects
  • Gather, research, and prepare communications material, including writing and editing press releases, newsletters, and communications materials
  • Initiate and maintain contact with the media, including delivering presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia
  • Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions, including developing and implementing business plans
  • Conduct analytical marketing studies, including evaluating customer service and store environments
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals, including designing and conducting feasibility studies
  • Design market research questionnaires, including developing and implementing marketing strategies
  • Develop a portfolio of marketing materials, including maintaining and managing digital databases
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments, including designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative research projects
  • Design, conduct, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects, including developing and implementing business plans
  • Develop feasibility studies, including designing and conducting market research
  • Conduct online marketing, e-commerce, and website promotions, including maintaining and managing digital databases
  • Maintain a database of potential franchisees, real estate locations, and online buy/sell Internet sites
  • Prepare funding applications, including developing and implementing marketing strategies
  • Develop marketing strategies, including designing and conducting market research
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia, including developing and implementing business plans
  • Develop and implement business plans, including designing and conducting feasibility studies
  • Maintain and manage digital databases, including developing and implementing marketing strategies
  • Write and edit press releases, newsletters, and communications materials, including copywriting and editing
  • Copywrite, including developing and implementing marketing strategies
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support, including developing and implementing business plans
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff, including training and development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Strong background in marketing and project management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to design and conduct market research, including quantitative and qualitative research projects
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies, including online marketing and e-commerce promotions
  • Ability to maintain and manage digital databases, including developing and implementing business plans
