Job Title: Headwaiter/Headwaitress - Food and Beverage Services

We are seeking a skilled Headwaiter/Headwaitress to join our team at the Manitoulin Hotel & Conference Centre. As a key member of our food and beverage services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Manage tables, take orders, and ensure prompt delivery of food and beverages.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Upsell and promote menu items, wine, and other beverages to enhance the guest experience.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of wine and beverages, with the ability to make recommendations.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
