About the Role

As a Sewing Sample Maker at Canada Goose Inc., you will play a crucial role in the development of our new style garments. Your expertise in sewing and garment construction will be essential in creating high-quality prototypes and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sewing and Garment Construction: You will be responsible for sewing entire garments from beginning to end, using various industrial machines and techniques.
  • Design Implementation: You will apply design changes to achieve the desired outcome, working closely with the Product Integration team to introduce new styles to minimize risks and optimize processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You will work together with the Product Integration team to ensure seamless integration of new styles into bulk production, reducing SAMs and capturing videos on best sewing methods for future reference.
  • Work Area Maintenance: You will ensure that your work area is clean and safe, adhering to company standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in clothing manufacturing, with a strong understanding of garment constructions, measurements, and technical specifications.
  • Industrial Machine Operation: Proficiency in operating various industrial machines, including single needle, double needle, AMS, PS800, serger, binding, bar tack, seam sealing, snaps, and eyelets machines.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
