Sewing Machine Operator

Job Summary:

As a Sewing Operator at LION, you will play a critical role in the production of firefighter turnout suits and rescue wear. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial sewing equipment to assemble garments according to specifications.
  • Prepare machines for production by changing needles, thread, and oiling and changing bobbins.
  • Meet production goals by working effectively with the team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Understand quality requirements and how this position affects quality, including on-time delivery, material tracking, and meeting customer requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with industrial sewing equipment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team.
  • Good attendance record and self-motivation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, sitting, walking, and bending as needed.
  • Using proper lifting technique to lift objects up to a certain weight.
