About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team at CanWel Building Materials. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in creating exceptional customer experiences and driving sales revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promptly answer customer phone calls for orders, quotes, and inquiries, utilizing our 4A Customer Conversation model to determine customer requirements and secure maximum invoice value.
  • Sell additional products by recognizing opportunities to up-sell or sell complementary products, ensuring accurate and efficient order entry into our system.
  • Relay vital information to operations team members, promptly and accurately handling credits and returns.
  • Partner with Account Managers to manage customer relationships, resolving problems by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved problems.
  • Utilize call planning process to place outbound phone calls to customers to promote and sell Doman products and sell promotion programs, increasing the dollar value of orders.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills on the phone, with the ability to anticipate customer needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn technical information specific to the building industry, with a working knowledge of wood frame residential construction an asset.
  • Minimum three years of sales experience, with formal sales training desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of French is a requirement of the job, with bilingual (French and English) a requirement.
