Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Team Lead to join our team at OZEN KOREAN RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food and service standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and Coordination: Establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Supervision: Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, establish work schedules, and oversee the work of 3-4 staff members.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, walking, and maintaining attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, with knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, dependability, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and team player.

Benefits:

  • Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
