Biotechnology Downstream Processing Expert

Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Biotechnology Downstream Processing Expert to join our diverse and collaborative team. Your primary focus will be on scaling our proprietary continuous fermentation technology and developing high-quality Single Cell Protein (SCP) products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement DSP techniques for large-volume processing compatible with high-yield continuous fermentation systems.
- Develop efficient methods for biomass separation and optimize UHT processing and drying techniques to enhance product quality and functionality.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance processes to improve quality, yield, and cost-efficiency.
- Explore real-time monitoring and quality control systems for downstream operations.
- Downstream processing technologies including centrifugation, filtration, and drying.
- Data analysis and advanced analytics techniques to optimize process performance.
- Predictive modeling to enhance process control and product consistency.
This position requires 3+ years of practical experience in downstream processing within the biotechnology or food technology industry. As a successful candidate, you will possess effective communication skills, an adaptable growth-oriented mindset, and proficiency in data analysis and downstream processing technologies.
