About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Lakha Transport Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and supplies between departments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans

Develop specific plans to prioritize and manage the movement of goods and supplies, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Coordinate with Other Departments

Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Monitor Inventory and Supplies

Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring that our inventory is up-to-date and accurate.

Dispatch Personnel and Vehicles

Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring that our drivers are equipped with the necessary information to complete their tasks efficiently.

Track Shipments and Deliveries

Keep track of shipments and deliveries, ensuring that our customers receive their goods on time and in good condition.

Knowledge of Transportation Regulations

Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations, ensuring that our operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

Process and Transmit Information

Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.

Organize and Maintain Inventory

Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that our supplies are up-to-date and accurate.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

Transportation.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Work under pressure.
