Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans

Develop specific plans to prioritize and manage the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

Coordinate Logistics Operations

Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization, including coordinating activities with other work units or departments.

Monitor and Control Inventory

Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments and maintain accurate inventory records.

Dispatch Personnel and Vehicles

Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring that vehicles are properly assigned and utilized.

Track Shipments and Manage Communication

Keep track of shipments and process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.

Maintain Knowledge of Regulations

Stay up-to-date with knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

Transportation.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Work under pressure and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Language

English.

Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
