Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning and organizing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the efficient movement of supplies and materials between departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans
    • Plan and organize the operational logistics of the organization to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinate Activities
    • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and Control Inventory
    • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Dispatch Personnel
    • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Track Shipments
    • Keep track of shipments and ensure that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Knowledge of Transportation Regulations
    • Have knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Process and Transmit Information
    • Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory
    • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that supplies and materials are readily available when needed.
Work Environment

The Logistics Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or transportation
  • Language
    • English
  • Work Hours
    • 30 to 40 hours per week
