Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000-$180,000 depending on the location and experience.
Job Description
In this role as Senior Product Manager in the Distech Controls Controllers team, you will play a critical part in defining and executing our product strategy, driving product innovation, and ensuring our solutions deliver growth and customer satisfaction.
This position involves close collaboration with other programs, including Sensor & Apps, Software, KE2 Therm, and Atrius, to develop and market comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs.
- Key Responsibilities
- Identify market opportunities, conduct market research, and analyze customer needs to drive product innovation and differentiation.
- Define product roadmap, prioritize features, and guide the team in making data-driven decisions.
Product Development and Execution:
Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful product delivery.
Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into actionable specifications and user experiences.
Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, gather user feedback, and iterate on products to drive customer satisfaction and adoption.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, product management, design, marketing, sales, and sales support teams to align product strategies and ensure successful go-to-market plans.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to our controllers' products.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and inform product decisions.
Anticipate market shifts and proactively recommend strategic actions to maintain a competitive edge.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in Product Management or a similar product development role.
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of product development processes and methodologies.
- Track record of delivering successful technical products, from concept to launch, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- English spoken and written.
