Job Title: Data Science Manager

At Lyft, we're revolutionizing the way people move around cities. As a Data Science Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping our data-driven decision-making processes. You'll lead a team of talented data scientists and engineers, working together to develop innovative solutions that improve our transportation network.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of data scientists and engineers to develop and implement data-driven solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to address them
  • Design and implement data pipelines and architectures to support business needs
  • Develop and maintain data products and services to support business decision-making
  • Partner with product managers and engineers to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams
  • Proven track record of leading data science and engineering teams to deliver high-impact projects
  • Strong technical skills in programming languages, data processing frameworks, and cloud provisioning environments
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
