Job Title: Route Driver

At Ryan Company Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Route Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods and materials to customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver goods and materials
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch to ensure efficient delivery operations
  • Keep accurate records of items received and delivered
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance
  • Manage payment and receipt of goods and materials
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
Work Environment:
  • On the road job with variable schedules
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week
