Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Rideshare team at Lyft. As a key member of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Define key metrics and produce accurate reports and data analysis to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Forecasting and Modeling: Coordinate with internal systems and financial analytics teams to refine forecasting of estimated actuals.
  • Rideshare Post-Marketing Margin (PMM) Modeling: Support PMM modeling and forecasting efforts.
  • Ad-Hoc Requests: Provide expert financial analysis and support for ad-hoc requests.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Act as a subject matter expert in finance for Driver incentives/onboarding and Rider incentives.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Finance) with at least 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models, with excellent quantitative analysis and forecasting skills.
  • Teamwork: Proven capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and the ability to derive insights from incomplete information.
  • Organizational Skills: A detail-oriented, highly organized self-starter with the ability to manage overlapping tasks and frequent priority changes.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with SQL and ERP systems, such as Oracle Essbase or Anaplan, is preferred.
