We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at HALISUN CONSTRUCTION SERVICES LTD.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires the ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment to load, unload and move materials and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, and bulldozers to perform tasks such as loading and unloading materials, digging and grading sites, and moving equipment and supplies.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and identify any potential issues before use.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety procedures and protocols to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Able to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
