Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

At Whitecourt Labour Force, we are seeking a skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire and train cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure that they meet our safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Recommend additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Assist cleaning staff in performing their duties as needed.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure that tasks are completed on time.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a cleaning or maintenance role.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
