Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Whitecourt Labour Force. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, such as painting, repairs, or equipment replacement.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties and provide guidance as needed.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and bending, crouching, or kneeling.
